Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has submitted the charge sheet of the much-talked-about Jubo League leader Milky’s murder case.

The charge sheet accuses 12 for their involvement in the killing.

Assistant Superintendent of Police and investigating officer in the case, Kazemur Rashid of RAB 1, submitted the charge sheet to Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Tuesday morning.

Six of the accused confessed about their involvement in the killing.

In the charge sheet, RAB mentioned that Tarek and Aminul shot Milky with a revolver. The duo killed Milky following previous enmity.

RAB also submitted 26 rounds of bullet shells, hard disk of the CCTV camera that captured the murder incident, and other evidences of the killing.

Reazul Haque Khan Milky, who was an organising secretary of Dhaka City (South) unit of the Awami League’s youth wing, was shot dead by armed men in the early hours of Tuesday, in front of a shopping centre in Gulshan 1.

Later that same day, Milky’s brother, Maj Rashidul Haque Khan, filed a murder case with Gulshan police station accusing 11, including Chanchal and Zahid Siddiki Tarek.

Tarek, meanwhile, was killed in “crossfire” during a gunfight between RAB and unidentified gunmen on July 31 in the city’s Khilkhet.
