Hasina-Modi meeting in Kathmandu Wednesday

 Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, now in Kathmandu to attend the 18th Saarc Summit, will have a meeting on Wednesday.

This will be their second meeting with the first one being held in New York on September 26 when they attended the UN General Assembly.

According to the official schedule of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the meeting will be held at the Malshree Lobby Floor of the Crown Plaza Kathmandu- Soaltee- at 3:15 pm (local time).

Besides, the Prime Minister will attend the inaugural session of the Saarc Summit at City Hall (Rashtriya Sabha Griha), Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu. She will be received by Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil koirala and Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will have a meeting with her Nepalese counterpart Sushil koirala at her place of residence. She will also have meetings with Afghan President Dr Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai and Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

In the evening, she will attend a banquet to be hosted by Nepalese Prime Minister Sushil Koirala in honour of heads of state and government and their spouses. It will be preceded by a cultural programme.
