Gonojagoron Mancha demands death to Rana Plaza owner

The Gonojagoron Mancha has demanded death penalty to Sohel Rana, the owner of Rana Plaza in Savar that collapsed a week ago leaving over 400 dead and scores injured.
The Mancha youths also vowed to keep providing humanitarian support to the injured in the collapse as they did by donating blood.
Hundreds of people gathered Wednesday evening at the capital’s Shahbagh intersection, now popularly known as Projonmo Chattar, to mourn the death of workers in the Savar tragedy.
Imran H Sarker, spokesperson of the Gonojagoron Mancha, and war crimes expert Shahriar Kabir addressed the gathering.
The nation is observing the International Workers’ Day on May 1 while still reeling from the shock of the death of workers in the collapse of Rana Plaza that housed five garment factories.
The Savar tragedy once again turned the spotlight on the owners’ comprise on safety issue of workers in garment factories across the country.

  1. How about that? The “Kujonmo Chattor” has finally woken up and their demand is – you guessed it right – hang Rana. Let’s see what happens if their demand is not met. After all Rana is Awami League’s man and represents all that AL represents.
