Woman’s body recovered from septic tank in Bogra

Bogra, Mar 11 (UNB)– Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from a septic tank of a primary school building in Sahjahanpur of Bogra on Saturday.

Sahnaj Parvin, teacher of Darikulla Primary School, said local people opened up the cover of the septic tank and saw the decomposed body of the woman as students of the school sensed putrid from the toilet.

Informed, a team of police led by Atiar Rahman, officer-in-charge (operations) of Sahjahanpur thana, rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to morgue for autopsy.

The woman might have been strangled but the motive behind the murder will be known after investigation, said the OC.
