Two JMB suspects held in Rajshahi, Sherpur

Police in separate drives arrested two suspected members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh from different areas of Rajshahi and Sherpur on Friday night.
The arrestees were identified as Kamal Hossain,30, son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Shitlai village in Bagmara of Rajshahi, and Sajedul Islam alias Saddam,27, son of Jamal Uddin, a resident of Chakpara in Jhinaigati of Sherpur, reports United News of Bangladesh.
In Rajshahi, tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in Shikdari Bazar of Bagmara and arrested Kamal Hossain, nephew of JMB cadre Mamun Mahuri, at about 8:00pm, said superintendent of police Moazzem Hossain.
Kamal was wanted in two cases filed with Bagmara Police Station, the SP added.
In Sherpur, on secret information, police arrested Sajedul Islam alias Saddam from Chakpara in Jhinaigati at about 9:30pm, said Additional Superintendent of Police Salauddin Shikder.
Sajedul was a cohort of executed JMB kingpins Shaykh Abdur Rahman and Siddiqur Rahman alias Bangla Bhai, the ASP added.
