Bangladesh national football team manager Amer Khan and physio Fuad Hasan have tested Covid-19 positive in Qatar, confirmed a Bangladesh Football Federation official from Doha today.
Bangladesh national football team reached Doha yesterday to play World Cup Qualifying match against Qatar on December 4 and all national booters and officials underwent Covid-19 test after landing in Doha.
Hasan Mahmud, assistant head of BFF competition departments, confirmed that that they have received the reports of Covid-19 tests and Amer and Fuad were tested positive.
All players and officials, including Amer and Fuad, had negative reports with them when they flew out to Doha yesterday. Only national football team member SM Monjurul Rahman tested positive for the virus following tests on Wednesday.
The national team are supposed to have a 72-hour quarantine at Hotel before getting the opportunity to have outdoor training.
