Indian visa applicants have been requested to also submit applications at the new Dhanmondi centre to avoid congestion at the Gulshan visa application centre (IVAC).
The State Bank of India once again made the request in a statement on Wednesday as the opening of new centre failed to lessen the rush at Gulshan.
The Dhanmondi centre at Road Number 2 was opened in January this year.
It will receive applications from 8am to 1pm from Sunday to Thursday for those who have prior appointments, and from 9am to 10am for walk-in applicants.
All, except tourist visa applicants, can submit applications for walk-in.
The SBI also runs an IVAC at Dhaka’s business district Motijheel.
