Jute and Textiles Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui on Tuesday accused BNP chairperson Khaleda of talking rubbish as she has got desperate to save the war criminals and go to power.“The BNP chief considers army as her paternal property and house guards,” he said talking to reporters after placing wreaths at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara on behalf of central Awami League.
He also termed late President Ziaur Rahman ‘treacherous’, and said Khaleda Zia and her sons amassed wealth through corruption, including stealing money from Zia Orphanage Trust.
