Bangladesh Cricket Team captain Mashrafe Mortaza has been hospitalized with illness early Friday.
The number one pacer was admitted to Apollo Hospital with high fever at around 2:30am, said Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury.
He has bee diagnosed with dengue fever. After getting report, it will be confirmed about type of fever, the BCB doctor added.
His son Sahel has also been suffering from fever over the last few days.
Mashrafe was scheduled to travel to Khulna on Friday to play the division side’s match against Rangpur Division in the National Cricket League.
