The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) lost more than 1 per cent on the first trading day of the week today as most shares fell.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse of Bangladesh, plummeted 66 points, or 1.09 per cent, to 6,059 at 12:50pm.
Turnover, another key indicator of the market, stood at Tk 317 crore.
Of the securities, 48 advanced, 304 fell, and 29 remained unchanged.
