Bangladesh will be a priority country in getting Covid-19 vaccine that India is producing, Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said.
“For us, Bangladesh is always a priority country,” he told media when asked if Bangladesh will get priority in getting vaccine.
He said this after meeting Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen at the Hotel Sonargaon today.
He said India is conducting stage three trial of vaccines.
“We are going to produce vaccine on a massive scale. India produces 60 percent of the world’s vaccine,” Shringla said.
“When the vaccine is produced, it goes without saying that our closest neighbours, friends, partners and other countries will be part of that,” he added.
