Taking proper health precautions, any citizen can commute in Dhaka city. Restaurants and bakeries will remain open as many people do not have any means of cooking.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam sent these messages to the police officials working on the field to clarify confusions over moving in the city now, additional commissioner of DMP Krisnapada Roy confirmed.
He said there had been confusion among the people about whether restaurants would be open or not.

The policemen also asked the police officials to ensure the free movement of those involved in the restaurant sector.
Shops of essential commodities will remain open too, asked a directive issued by the DMP chief saying the workers of the shops should be allowed to move freely in Dhaka city.
Following health guidelines, people can use any means of transportation.
The directive also asked that the law enforcers to ensure the safety of the people in emergency services such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants and technicians and security personnel.
The people engaged with emergency services were asked to do their duties maintaining social distancing.
