Six people, including two children, died and at least nine persons suffered injuries when a bus hit a truck parked on the highway in Mymensingh’s Trishal upazila this afternoon.
The deceased are yet to be identified, reports our local correspondent.

Quoting locals and eyewitnesses, Officer-in-Charge (OC) (Investigation) of Trishal Police Station Abu Bakr Siddique said a Mymensingh-bound bus hit a truck, which was parked on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Chelerghat area, around 2:30pm.
Five persons, including two children, died on the spot, the OC said, adding that another person died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).
Nine injured people were receiving treatment at the MMCH, the OC added.
