195 runs off 46 overs for the loss of nine wickets with Kyle Mills and Tim Southee batting on 16 and 0 respectively at the Sher-e Bangla Stadium when this report was filed.

Satellite channel Gazi TV and state-run television BTV are broadcasting the match live.

Mashrafe Mortaza drew the first blood as he dismissed opener Hamish Rutherford for 1.

Sohag Gazi then caught and bowled Anton Devcich, with Grant Elliot following suit the very next ball, being out leg before off the bowling of Abdur Razzak.

Mashrafe Mortaza came back to claim the wicket of Corey Anderson for 37, who was out caught as skipper Mushfiqur Rahim took a superb flying catch.

Part-timer Mominul Haque accounted for the wicket of Brendon McCullum as the Kiwi skipper was out leg before for 14.

Tom Latham departed early as well, victim to a mix-up with Taylor before scoring a run.

Earlier in the Bangladesh innings, Kiwi pacers Corey Anderson and James Neesham ran through the late order reining in a promising surge dismissing the hosts for 247.

Opener Tamim Iqbal top scored with a composed 58, hitting five boundaries and a six as Tigers strived to register a win to seal the series.

Tamim was well supported by Shamsur Rahman, Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim as they scored 25, 31 and 31 respectively.

However, failing to convert starts into big scores hurt the Bangladesh batsmen as they could not put up sizable partnerships to lift the team total.

Anderson and Neesham were the pick of the Kiwi bowlers as they collected four wickets each.

Earlier, Tigers won the toss and elected to bat first.

Tigers are looking to continue their impressive performance as they beat the visitors by 43 runs (D/L method) in the first ODI held in the same venue on Tuesday.
