An event has been organised to protest the attack on Ekushey Padak winner photojournalist Manjur Alam Beg’s family members at the university campus area.
The event aims to protect Dhaka University from the hands of the criminals.
The programme is going to be held at the central Shaheed Minar around 3pm on Monday, demanding punishment for the four people involved with the attack.
So far, 731 have expressed their willingness on Facebook to join the event.
Unidentified miscreants attacked and mercilessly beat up Manjur Alam’s son Imtiaz Alam Beg and granddaughters Saba Ahmed and Rubaiya Ahmed near Shahidullah Hall on November 5.
Event organiser Rubaiya Ahmed, also urged the people to join together against such incidents to avoid those in future.
