Road march of AL-led 14-party

The countrywide three-day road march of the Awami League-led 14-party alliance has begun today protesting violence unleashed by the BNP-led 20 party alliance.The road march will be staged in various areas including unions, upazilas, municipalities, districts, cities and divisional headquarters across the country and the road march is scheduled to end on March 11.

Following the programme, four teams were formed to make the protest programme successful.

Health Minister and Awami League Presidium member Mohammad Nasim, Dr. Dipu Moni, Khaled Mahmud Chowdhury, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton and other leaders will lead the road march in Sirajganj, Bogra and Gaibandha.

A second team led by Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium member Matia Chowdhury will participate in the Gazipur road march today, Manikganj on March 10 and Munshiganj on March 11.

Bridges and Road Transport Minister and Awami League Presidium member Obaidul Quader will lead another team in Chittagong today. The team will visit Noakhali on March 10 and Feni on March 11.

Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif will lead the fourth team and participate in the road march in Kushtia today, and Jhenaidah and Jessore on the next two days.
