Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned home from her trip to the United Kingdom and Belarus, a day ahead of the schedule.
Several Cabinet members and top leaders of the ruling party greeted her at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday.
Deputy Leader of Parliament Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Textiles Minister Abdul Latif Siddique and LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, along with Chiefs of the Armed Forces, were present at the airport.
Hasina had left Dhaka last Thursday for an official visit to the UK and Belarus.
During her stay in the UK, she attended the wedding ceremony of her niece Tulip Siddiq, daughter of Sheikh Rehana.
