PM returns home from UK

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday returned home from London concluding her 10-day official visit to the United Kingdom.
She returned by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines along with her entourage, Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha reported.
Earlier the Biman flight took off from the Heathrow International Airport in London for Dhaka on Friday afternoon. Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK Saida Muna Tasneem was present to see the prime minister off at the airport, according to the BSS report.
At Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, liberation war affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque, agriculture minister Md Abdur Razzaque, law minister Anisul Huq, finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, foreign minister AK Abdul Momen, commerce minister Tipu Munshi, housing and public works minister SM Rezaul Karim, PM’s power, energy and mineral resources affairs adviser Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, state minister for civil aviation and tourism M Mahbub Ali, cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam, PM’s principal secretary M Nojibur Rahman and high civil and military officials were present at the airport to receive the prime minister.
The premier went to London on May 1.
During her London visit, the prime minister attended a view-exchange meeting organised by the UK chapter of Bangladesh Awami League and its associate bodies at Taj Hotel in London.
