BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to sit with US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan W Mozena tonight (Tuesday night).
The parley will be held at Khaleda’s Gulshan office at 8:00pm, BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
Issues like the country’s latest political situation, January 5 elections, the US’ stance on the polls and Sheikh Hasina-led government, post-election violence against minorities, the post-polls political situation are likely to come up at the meeting for discussions, BNP sources said.
It will be the first meeting of the US envoy with the BNP chief after the January 5 national election.
Earlier on December 31 last year, Mozena met Khaleda at her Gulshan residence amid the allegation that the government had kept her under house arrest ahead of the 10th parliamentary polls.
