BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia sat with top leaders of the 19-party alliance on Thursday night to discuss the country’s latest political situation and finalise their next course of action.
The meeting began around 10pm with Khaleda Zia in the chair at her Gulshan office, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.
Party sources said the BNP chief is likely to elaborately discuss the country’s latest political situation and seek the alliance leaders’ opinions about the next possible anti-government campaign.
She will also convey the 19-party leaders about the decisions of the BNP standing committee they have taken last week at another meeting with her.
Before the meeting with the alliance partners, Khaleda also had a meeting with Japanese Ambassador in Dhaka Shiro Sadoshima.
