There would be no benefits in movement as the people want peace, not destruction, says Kamal
The government would not sit idle if BNP tries to cause damage to people’s life and property in the name of movement, State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said.
Kamal made the warning while speaking at a discussion meeting on National Mourning Day in the capital on Friday, reports BSS.
“The government would take tough steps, if BNP resorts to arson attacks to burn buses and kill people in the name of movement like that done before in the 5 polls,” the home minister cautioned.
He, however, said the government has no objection if the BNP wages a movement following the norms.
However, it would be tackled strongly if they try to create anarchy in the name of movement, he also uttered.
He said there would be no benefits in movement as the people want peace, not destruction.
The entire nation will observe August as the month of mourning however BNP is talking about movements in this month, he added.
