Jamaat-e-Islami has postponed their earlier 48-hour strike plan for Aug 12 and Aug 13
They will enforce their shutdown plans on Aug 13 and Aug 14 instead, said the party in a press release issued on Tuesday.
Jamaat had announced the shutdown against the High Court verdict that announced its registration ‘illegal and void’ on Aug 1.
The move it said is for the benefit of the people who will be returning from home after Eid.
