A caretaker government framework cannot be worked out by issuing threats from the streets, said Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Friday urging the opposition to sit in a dialogue to resolve the crisis.
“Hammering out an interim polls-time system requires the consent of both the parties. Discard the destructive activities and sit in talks. Then there’ll be a solution,” he said while talking to reporters at the local Circuit House.
Claiming that there are conditions even in democracy for doing politics, the minister said political activities in the capital have been suspended in the wake of the deteriorating situation.
Terming Jamaat-e-Islami a ‘terrorist outfit’, he said they unleashed terrorist and destructive activities whenever they got permission for rallies.
