Ershad visits ailing JP leader Howlader

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad on Friday visited his party’s ailing senior leader ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader at a city hospital.

The Jatiya Party chief went to United Hospital around 11am and spent some time beside Howlader, a Presidium Council Member of the party who was recently removed from the post of its secretary general.

Ershad enquired about his party colleague’s health condition from the physicians and talked to his relatives present there.

Howlader was admitted to the hospital on Thursday afternoon after he complained of chest pain.

Howlader is apparently going through a tough time as he lost his party’s secretary general post at a time when the Anti Corruption Commission has launched inquiry into his accumulated wealth.

On April 10, Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu replaced Howlader as Jatiya Party’s secretary general.
