A decision was made by chiefs of the three services to take a strong action against the ongoing destructive activities across Bangladesh.
The armed forces and other law enforcement agencies will take the stern action to protect stability of the country by stopping the ongoing destructive activities and anarchy including setting fire, said an Inter Services Public Relation Directorate press release on Thursday.
Besides, the newly appointed inspector general of police Md Mainul Islam, director general of Rapid Action Battalion AKM Shahidur Rahman and Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner Md Mainul Hasan met Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman in presence of Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hasan and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan.
