Unidentified miscreants exploded two crude bombs near Ganajagaran Mancha at city’s Shahbagh as Jamaat-enforced daylong shutdown was in progress.
The bombs went off around 1:30pm, half an hour after a procession brought out by the Mancha activists, defying the shutdown.
Witnesses said two youths riding a motorcycle from Dhaka University’s TSC area set off the bombs and fled the scene towards Kataban area.
However, there was no casualty in the incident.
