Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ) secretary general Mufti Faizullah on Monday called upon people of all strata of life to sever ties with the atheists and the enemies of Islam.
Addressing a meeting at IOJ office at the capital’s Lalbagh, the Islamist party leader also urged the devout Muslims to take to streets to foil all conspiracies against Islam.
Claiming that they are not subservient to anybody, Mufti Faizullah, also Hefazat-e-Islam central joint secretary general, asked journalists not to present them as part of other political organisations.
He said, “We’re not subservient to anybody except almighty Allah and His Prophet (SM). We’ll like to tell media brothers that don’t belittle us by making B-team and C-team of others.”
Mufti Faizullah also urged all Islam-loving people to make a success the April 6 long march towards Dhaka called by Hefazat-e-Islam.
