The government has decided to keep shopping malls and market closed during the 14-day countrywide lockdown that will begin on July 23.

Every tourist spot, resorts, community centres and entertainments parks will also remain closed, the cabinet division said in a notification today.

To control the spread of coronavirus, industry owners have also been asked to keep their factories closed during the lockdown after the Eid-ul-Azha.
