6 Bangladeshi origin British to contest UK polls

Six Bangladeshi origin British citizens are going to participate in the upcoming parliamentary election of the United Kingdom.
They have been nominated from three major political parties of the country for the election to be held in May 2015, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
Four of them have been nominated by the main opposition Labour Party.
They are: Rushnara Ali from Bethnal Green and Bow constituency, Tulip Rizwana Siddik (daughter of Sheikh Rehana, sister of Bangladesh PM) from Hampstead and Kilburn, Rupa Asha Haque from Ealing Central and Acton constituency, and Anwar Babul Mia from Welwyn Hatfield constituency.
Apart from them, Mina Rahman has been nominated by the Conservative Party for the Barking constituency, and Prince Sadik Chowdhury from Sylhet has been nominated by Liberal Democrat party for the Northampton South constituency. Both the parties are in the ruling coalition.
