The government has given promotions to 536 officials to the posts of additional secretary, joint secretary, and deputy secretary.
The public administration ministry notified the promotions in gazettes issued on Sunday morning.
A total of 205 senior assistant secretaries were promoted to deputy secretaries, 186 deputy secretaries were promoted to joint secretaries, and 145 joint secretaries were promoted to the rank of additional secretary.
