Rescuers Sunday continue their efforts to pull out the survivors and trapped victims from inside the rubble of Rana Plaza in Savar which caved in on Wednesday.

Four victims trapped inside the rubble of Savar collapsed building were pulled out alive from the rubble of Rana Plaza around 100 hours after the nine-storey building in Savar collapsed.

The death toll now stands 369.

The survivors were rescued from the third floor of the nine-storey building at 12:10pm.

Meanwhile, the rescue workers found nine more people alive under the rubble of collapsed Rana Plaza.

The workers were trying to rescue them till filing of this report at 12:20pm.

“We will try to rescue the nine survivors manually at first. If we fail, we will use powerful cranes to lift concrete slabs to pull them out alive,” said Major General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardi, general officer commanding of Nine Infantry Division.

So far, 2,440 survivors were rescued from beneath the rubble of the nine-storey building.

As the rescue workers is set to start final operation huge ambulances and stretchers are seen at the site to carry the survivors and the bodies.
