Severe thunderstorm with W/Nw’ly Kalbaishakhi squalls is likely to affect the North Bay, adjoining coastal area and the maritime ports.
Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Mongla have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three, said a special bulletin of the Met Office on Tuesday.
All fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
