Two Bangladeshi police personnel in UN mission die in Mali

Two Bangladeshi police constables, who were on UN peacekeeping mission was killed during a cyclone in Mali.

Mali is a West-African country where UN peacekeeping troops are placed. On Sunday, a cyclone hit the coast of the country.

Constables Md Samidul Haque and Motahar Hossain are the two victims of the disaster.

The two police personnel were on duty along with others of the UN peacekeeping mission when the cyclone brushed the coasts of Mali around 5:30pm (local time) on Sunday, said senior information officer of the Police headquarters Kamrul Ahsan.
