Khaleda to announce new course of action

As the Awami League led incumbent government has not responded to the BNP`s demands, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will announce a new course of action against the government soon.

The BNP Chairperson also the leader of the 20-party alliance will meet the media soon to announce her new course of action, the party insiders confirmed risingbd.com, in this regard.

The alliance has been enforcing a non-stop nationwide blockade and hartal programmes one after another since January 5.

They have been continuing hartals and blockade demanding to arrange a fresh election under a non-party caretaker government in the country.

On Tuesday (Today), BNP-led 20-party alliance has aslo extended its ongoing hartal for more 48 hours alongside the ongoing countrywide indefinite period blockade programmes.

The party sources said, the leaders and activists of the party are continuing the party`s movement against the government across the country but they, however, also expressed annoyance against the high profile leaders as they were not involved in the movement abundantly.

Adviser to the BNP Chief Ahmed Azam Khan told risingbd.com, in this regard, “We have failed to stage demonstration against the government in the capital.”

The BNP Chief`s adviser also condemned the recent killings of his partymen in all over the country.

BNP standing committee member Lt Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, however, opined,” The country is not running well, the economy of the country is going to devastate.”

“So, the government should take everything positively for the sake of the country,” the BNP leader added.
