Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that her government will find out who supplied arms and explosives in the attack in a café in Gulshan that 20 hostages.
She said those during a meeting with Japan’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs Seiji Kihara at her official residence Ganabhaban on Sunday.
“We will find out the culprits who supplied weapons and explosives to the terrorists,” said Ihsanul Karim, press secretary to the PM.
Ihsanul was briefing media after the meeting.
He said Japanese minister assured full support of Japan to Bangladesh in this hardest time.
A total of 28 people were killed including 20 hostages, 6 gunmen and two police officers in the deadly Gulshan attack.
Commandos rescued 13 hostages killing six attackers and arresting another.
Of the deceased, nine were Italians, seven Japanese and an Indian. Three Bangladeshis were also among the dead and one of them was a US citizen.
