Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered the police administration to update the terrorist lists on Thursday afternoon.
State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan made the disclosure on Thursday. He was talking to the journalists after a meeting between the prime minister and officials of home ministry in the afternoon at the ministry.
He said: “Previously it had been noticed that the names of the freedom fighters were found in the list. The prime minister has ordered the police to create the list neutrally so that these things do not happen again.”
The minister said Hasina has also ordered to dispose the sensational cases soon.
In the meeting, Hasina asked the law enforcer agencies to give more attention to check smuggling of arms and drugs.
The PM has also stressed importance to build up a strong cooperation among the countries of this region on this issue.
