The holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed in the country on June 2 as the Shaban moon was sighted in Bangladesh sky on Tuesday.
The National Moon Sighting Committee took the decision at a meeting at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram office in the evening after sighting of the Shaban moon, Director General of the Foundation Shamim Mohammad Afzal told UNB over phone.
The meeting was held with the DG in the chair.
