Earlier, Joe Root’s ton helped England set a challenging target of 310-runs for Sri Lanka.
Lasith Malinga, Suranga Lakmal, Angelo Mathews, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Rangana Herath, and Thisara Perera took one wicket each.
