Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is meeting the leaders of the Jatiya Party at Ganabhaban on Friday as part of her ongoing political dialogue.
The Jatiya Party (JP) is a splinter group led by Anwar Hossain Manju that broke away from the original Jatiya Party founded by Hussein Muhammad Ershad.
The Awami League in a media release on Thursday said the meeting would be held with a delegation of Jatiya Party led by Anwar Hossain Manju and Sheikh Shahidul Islam at around 7:30pm.

Hasina has had talks with leaders of Jatiya Party chief Ershad, Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal amid fears of a brewing political crisis.
The Prime Minister discussed her proposal of an election-time all-party government at those meetings.
She had even called the Leader of the Opposition, inviting her for a dialogue over dinner at Ganabhaban last Monday but the latter refused it saying it would not be possible for her until the 60-hr strike called by her party ended.
The BNP now says that it would sit in talks with the government only to discuss its demand for a ‘non-party’ caretaker government.
