Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad on Thursday said that people of the country have became hopeless and frustrated with the rule of two major political parties – Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Awami League.
‘People do not want to see them in power. They want Jatiya Party’, he said talking to the reporters at Rangpur circuit house this noon.
‘We are organizing Jatiya Party and taking preparations for election’, he added.
He said, ‘power cannot be achieved by burning people.Politicians seek vote from people before the elections from door to door. But now it’s people who were begging for their lives.’
The Jatiya Party chief said,‘only politicians can solve the ongoing political crisis not the civil society.Everyday innocent men including child and women were burnt to death in the political bloodshed. The next generation will not excuseus for this destructive politics.’
