He requested the Novoair authorities for keeping the tariff within the passenger’s reach as he promised them assistance from the government.
“We have brought two 49-seat airplanes of EMB-145, produced by Brazilian aerospace company Embraer for the sake of passenger’s comfort and safety,” said the airline’s Managing Director Capt (Retd) Mofizur Rahman.
“At the beginning, we will have four flights to Chittagong, one to Cox’s Bazar and one to Jessore daily. Soon our flights on the Dhaka-Sylhet route will also start.”
According to him, the airlines will expand its business on international routes gradually after introducing flights to Barisal, Rajshahi and Syedpur.
Tickets can also be purchased online, he said.
As many as 12 Bangladeshi and 6 foreign pilots have been appointed to operate Novoair flights to various destinations.
