His remarks came on Tuesday during a question-answer session in Parliament.

Several organisations including Ganajagaran Mancha have been demanding boycotting Pakistani goods in protest against a resolution adopted by that country’s National Assembly which termed war criminal Abdul Quader Molla a loyal supporter of the ‘United Pakistan’ and expressed concern at his hanging.
The Mancha had also demanded severing all ties with Pakistan and barring participants of the country from opening stalls or pavilions at the last Dhaka International Trade Fair.
Molla, better known as ‘Kasai Qader’ for committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971, was executed on Dec 12 last year. He was the assistant secretary general of the Jamaat-e-Islami.
Four days into the execution, the Pakistan National Assembly had passed the resolution, moved by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan member Sher Akbar Khan, expressing concern over the hanging of Molla. The resolution was adopted with a majority vote.
Later, Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Pakistan high commissioner in Dhaka to register protest against the resolution.
