I would like to engage in constructive politics to forward the flow of development, says Musa
Musa Ibrahim, first Bangladeshi climber to scale the Mount Everest, has expressed his willingness to join politics for what he says is for the wellbeing of the country and people.
Musa came up with the statement at a view-exchange meeting in Sadullapur Press Club of Gaibandha on Saturday night.
He said: “In comparison to other neighbouring countries, Bangladesh has moved forward in different sectors including child death, sanitation, health and agriculture.
I would like to engage in constructive politics to forward the flow of development.”
Addressing the students present at the programme, Musa said: “Nothing can be achieved by depending only on textbooks. You people have to set your goals and acquire knowledge outside of textbooks.”
