The BNP chairperson did not clarify the ‘logical consequences’.
“The movement is neither against any person, nor it is against any party. It is an ideological movement,” she said at the press conference at her Gulshan office in the city.
Khaleda Zia faced the journalists for the second time since the open-ended bloockade programme was launched on 5 January.
The BNP chairperson called on the countrymen to bear ‘temporary’ pains due to the ongoing blockade and hartal enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The BNP chairperson reiterated the demand for release of people who were detained during the ongoing movement.
All kinds of bans on political activities must be lifted as well, she demanded.
