Lincoln University blacklisted in Malaysia

Malaysian Lincoln University has been slapped with blacklist category for not observing the set rules of the institution as admitting more students crossing its limit of foreign quota. For this reason, the Bangladeshi students are not getting the opportunity of admission in this university.

The files of about two thousand Bangladeshi students are blocked for last three months. Again if the cases of blocked files of other countries are estimated the number will be more than five thousands.

After investigation it was revealed that the university was engaged in bringing labors in the name of students. The Education Ministry last year gave warnings for several times for committing seven offences.

Lincoln University is the first choice of agents for bringing Bangladeshi labors in the fake identity of students for the last six years. Students having fake certificates and fake documents were being admitted there.

Students of this university do not get chances of even visiting the campus though they come as the students of this university.

If this university could bring real students, then they would need to rent Negara stadium to accommodate the huge number of students.

After visiting the university campus it was found the university has been setup in one floor of Mayang Plaza in the Petaling Jaya side of Kelana Jaya LRT. On that single floor there are seen few namesake class rooms and office where the business is going on in the name education.

Not only the labors but many genuine students have been victimized through the agents also.

While talking to an agent in Kuala Lumpur, it is learnt that the student who gets admitted in the university is made an agent. The new student is told that if he can bring more students he will be given commission of ten percent.

In this case the university without verifying the documents of the students allows their admission in exchange of money. Under this opportunity the person who cannot even write their name becomes a university student.

One Bangladeshi student told Banglanews that not only the labors are coming here in the veil of students but some agents are also bringing meritorious students depriving them from real education.

A concerned source informed Banglanews that Lincoln University is practically running by the money of Bangladeshi students. The students, who earn by hard working, spend all of their earnings next year for visa renewal purpose.
