Two days ahead of the Bengali New Year, police have requested everyone to conclude their Pahela Baishakh celebrations at the Ramna Park by 5pm on Sunday.
At a media call on Friday, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Benazir Ahmed suggested everyone to leave the park by the time.

The DMP Commissioner assured everyone that the law keepers had taken adequate security measures.
