BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will not be able to find an escape route, if her ‘conspiracy’ fails, Awami League leader Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif has said.
At a public rally in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday, the BNP chairperson had said that she was not scared of being arrested and advised the rulers to find an ‘escape route’.
“You are conspiring with foreign forces to destabilise the country. If the conspiracy (to topple the Hasina-led government) fails, then you will not be able to find a way to escape,” Hanif told a discussion on Wednesday.

According to him, the BNP knows that the people are not with them and that’s why they are hatching ploys to topple Sheikh Hasina-led government.
“People gathered at the rally (in Brahmanbaria), but activists and leaders did not come out during the shutdown. You should learn a lesson from this. The people do not want programmes like strikes. Adopt the path of positive politics shunning the negative approach. There’s no use of a movement without an issue,” said the ruling party leader.
