Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday sent an invitation letter to Awami League president Sheikh Hasina, also the prime minister, to attend an iftar party she would host in honour of politicians.
A BNP delegation comprising of its organising secretaries Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu and Emran Saleh Prince, and assistant office secretary Asadul Karim Shahin reached the invitation letter to Awami League chief’s office at Dhanmondi. Khaleda invited the Awami League president and its senior leaders to attend the party to be held at Bashundhara Convention Centre on June 18.
Awami League deputy office secretary Mrinal Kanti Das received the invitation letter, said Emran Saleh Prince.
