Shaheda of Tangail stole the headlines by bagging a brilliant brace, scoring in the 25th and 35th minute, while Unnoti Khatun bagged the other goal in the 46th minute.
Tangail emerged as the champion in the Japan Football Association U-14 Women’s Football Championship 2018, powered by Walton, after beating Thakurgaon 3-0 in the final at Bir Sreshtha Shaheed Sipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Kamalapur Stadium in Dhaka Tuesday.
Shaheda stole the headlines by bagging a brilliant brace, scoring in the 25th and 35th minute, while Unnoti Khatun bagged the other goal in the 46th minute.
The champion received Tk50,000 while the runners-up side pocketed Tk25,000.
Shopna of Thakurgaon was named the most promising player of the tournament while Shaheda finished as the highest goal-scorer with seven strikes.
Golden Boot winner Shaheda was also adjudged player of the tournament while Rajshahi received the Fair Play trophy for their conduct throughout the competition.
The Nilfamari venue was also rewarded as the best regional venue.
