Jamaat leader Parwar held at Khulna jail gate

Plainclothes police arrested Jamaat assistant secretary general Prof Miah Golam Parwar at the Khulna Jail gate on Tuesday immediately after his release from the prison.

Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested the Jamaat leader when he walked out of the jail on bail at noon.

They also held three other people who went to the jail gate to receive the Jamaat leader.

Confirming the Parwar’s arrest, officer-in-charge of Khulna Sadar Police Station Sahabuddin Azad said the Jamaat leader was shown arrested in a fresh case.

Parwar secured bail from the High Court in all the three cases filed against him.

Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Safiqur Rahman said the Jamaat leader and the three others — Atahar Uddin, Ibrahim and Kazi Muzahidur Rahman — to the KMP headquarters.

Earlier on November 12 in 2102, detectives of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained Parwar in the capital’s Gulshan area.

  1. Jamaat leader Parwar held at Khulna jail gate by Detective police.
THERE EXISTS NO GOVERNMENT IN BANGLADESH, POORLY EDUCATED, UNTRAINED, INEXPERIENCED THUGS ARE RUNNING THE COUNTRY AS THEY LIKE, ONE MINISTRY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING: SOMETIMES THEY DUPLICATE THEIR WORK ,SOMETIME CONTRADICT EACH OTHER. Chain of command has completely broken down. From Dhaka Advocate Aminul Hoq Milon.
Highly politicised police in plain cloth arrested Jamaat assistant secretary general Prof Miah Golam Parwar on order of the thuggish Home minister at the Khulna Jail gate today (06.08.13) immediately after his release from the prison. Gang of Detective Police, mainly recruited from ruling party’s notorious Student League members arrested the Jamaat leader when he walked out of the jail after getting bail at noon from the High court. The Ex-student League thugs ( THE DETECTIVES) also held three other people who went to the jail gate to receive the Jamaat leader. Corrupt and partisan police, Mr S Azad, the well known sycophant of Hasina told journalist that “ HE HAS BEEN ARRESTED ON DIFFERENT CHARGE, THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR ME TO DISCLOSE”.
By the pretext of “ DEMOCRATIC GOOD GOVERNANCE” absolute thuggery has been continuing unabated in Bangladesh after the anti-Islamic incumbent government politicised and partynized every key institution of the state, particularly the judiciary, law enforcing agencies and education and used them as political tools to smash the political opponents, de-Islamize the country, use those institutions as political tools to perpetuate its power by the backing & blessing of its non-Muslim foreign mentors. Bangla judiciary, corrupt, highly politicized as it is has become a real joke. (2)
